Phovia light therapy is a new service we are offering at our office. We are one of the few clinics in our area offering this state of the art fluorescent light therapy.  

Phovia is an innovative, clinically proven, two-part system, consisting of an LED lamp and a chromophore gel. Used together, they produce multi-wavelength fluorescent light energy that can penetrate the skin to variable depths. Unlike other systems, Phovia is capable of triggering different beneficial responses at different layers. Phovia is literally shining a light on dermatological pet issues 

 Phovia Fluorescent Light Therapy can help speed healing in dogs, cats, and horses with skin conditions like:

No. Lasers require more frequent and longer treatments, up 15 minutes each. The blue light in Phovia interacts with the chromophore gel to generate fluorescence. A traditional therapy laser will not provide the same result 

 A Phovia session just takes minutes. Appointments are fast and non-invasive!
Your pet’s skin will be cleaned.  The special Phovia chromophore gel is then spread onto the skin. Protective eye goggles will be worn by veterinary personnel.  The Phovia light will be activated and held close to the skin surface for 2 minutes.  At the end of the cycle, the skin will be cleansed of gel, and your pet will be ready to go home!
